- Sample Type & Phase
- Clean, single-phase natural or process gas that is compatible with the coulometric sensing chemistry. Provide the full composition and identify reactive components, liquid carryover, aerosols, particulates, and expected contamination.
- Measurement Range
- Select the required 0.1, 1, or 5 ppmV lower range and state the normal and maximum moisture concentration, required units, calculated dew-point pressure basis, detection objective, and alarm points.
- Sample Conditions
- Provide source pressure, regulated analyzer pressure, temperature, available flow, ambient conditions, gas composition, contaminant loading, and the safe sample-disposal destination.
- Sample Handling
- Define moisture-clean tubing and fittings, pressure reduction to the analyzer limit, fine filtration, bypass flow, purge and isolation sequence, calibration connection, leak-test method, and measures preventing ambient moisture ingress.
- Installation Area
- Confirm indoor or outdoor location, hazardous-area classification, ambient range, shelter or enclosure requirements, maintenance access, and separation between the analyzer, pressure-conditioning equipment, and safe-area interfaces.
- Utilities
- Provide 20-27 VDC power, approved grounding and cable entries, regulated sample flow, purge or calibration gas where required, and a safe vent or return arrangement.
- Response Requirement
- State the required response and stabilization time, sample-line length, expected process step change, bypass flow, purge time, and acceptable delay after maintenance or exposure to ambient air.
- Integration Requirement
- Define 4-20 mA scaling, Modbus RTU mapping, reported units, calculated dew-point pressure basis, alarm logic, historian tags, local indication, and data-quality flags.
- Commissioning Requirement
- Confirm cleaning and leak-test acceptance, purge procedure, pressure and flow setup, stabilization criteria, reference-gas or hygrometer comparison, output checks, Modbus verification, training, and records.
