Analytical Instruments for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
TOC, water-quality, and elemental-analysis instruments for purified-water systems, process investigations, controlled manufacturing, incoming materials, and quality laboratories.

Measurement systems for controlled water and quality workflows
Pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers require controlled measurement workflows for purified water, high-purity water, process investigations, cleaning-related samples, utilities, incoming materials, and quality laboratories. Instrument suitability depends on the validated method, range, data controls, documentation, maintenance, and site quality system.
Blue Dragon Technology supports pharmaceutical applications through total-organic-carbon and water-quality instruments, including a pharmaceutical TOC platform under development, together with elemental-analysis instruments for selected material-screening and laboratory applications. Regulatory, pharmacopeial, and data-integrity claims are confirmed only for the final delivered configuration and documentation package.
Measurement challenges in this industry
Purified-water TOC
Measure organic contamination at the range and response appropriate to the water system and validated procedure.
High-purity system control
Review sampling, sanitization, materials, background levels, calibration, verification, and integration with the site monitoring strategy.
Investigation and response
Support contamination investigations, process changes, cleaning-related samples, deviations, and laboratory confirmation.
Data and quality controls
Define user access, records, review, reporting, audit requirements, backups, and validation responsibilities.
Materials screening
Use elemental analysis for selected incoming materials, packaging, components, or investigation samples where XRF is technically suitable.
Wastewater and utilities
Monitor organic loading or turbidity in supporting utility and treatment systems outside the validated high-purity-water workflow.

Does every Blue Dragon TOC instrument support pharmaceutical release testing?
No. Suitability depends on the exact product, validated range, oxidation and detection method, documentation, software controls, system qualification, and applicable site or pharmacopeial requirements.
What information is needed for a pharmaceutical water application?
Provide the water type, expected TOC range, sampling point, temperature, distribution-loop conditions, required response time, calibration and verification approach, data requirements, and validation expectations.
Can the instrument be integrated into a site quality system?
Integration requirements must be reviewed, including user access, data export, audit controls, records, network policy, backups, review workflow, and validation responsibility.
Can XRF replace compendial raw-material identification methods?
Not automatically. XRF may support screening or identification where technically suitable, but the method must be validated and accepted within the site's quality and regulatory framework.
